This is a warning about the user sarkismsrylann on deviantART. They’ve been going around defending Scar being redeemable, completely ignoring the mechanics of the fancomic pages they’re commenting on and picking argumentative fights with people within the comments section, ignoring other’s reasoning for their own. My advice is to block the user, there’s absolutely 0 reasoning with them. 

Please do not be fooled by adoptables like this. AI Dude Bros are starting to infiltrate this fandom, disguising scraped fanart as adoptables. 

AI is art theft. 

P sure I posted about this person here before, but they’re now stealing fan characters for their busy edits. They’ve stolen Azola from DJ88, and have taken art from Panther85. Someone edited an adult Kion, which they’re also using. 

Taking fanart and using it in speech bubbles. Doesn’t seem to care and blocks anyone who tells them to stop using fanart. 

Fanart I’ve spotted thus far; Kingsimba. 

They took TerraTimberWolf’s art, recolored it, then when told to change it, they changed the background and hid it behind a mature content filter, thinking that wouldn’t be sus at all.

Their youtube channel also has several hundred pics reposted as slideshow tributes and recolored for their own stories. 

If they really are trolling, they’re playing the role well. He doesn’t seem to understand what trauma or manipulation is in his long ironic analysis of Scar apologia.

Vitani is not canonically gay. She’s a blank slate. Stop trying to force her being a lesbian onto content creators. Vitani being lesbian started when a real bigot opposed the Kiara x Vitani ship in the fandom. People are allowed to hc her as anything they want. You’re not doing anyone favors by bleaching the fandom with that toxic Twitter mentality.

Scam alert

Normally I don’t do this, but this one’s a big issue in the base community. This snowflake seems to think as long as they credit their source they can turn anything they find into a base without proper permission, then goes on demanding “No mean or negative comments.” I politely told them that making bases out of people’s artwork without written permission is art theft and frowned upon, they would rather block and hide the issue than change their attitude towards hard working artists. 

They’ve stolen from a lot of artists from here and on deviantART. At least they made it easy to find the original source.
