Another repost culture account, their main target seems to be LeonzalezArt. Listen, I have heard word on the grapevine that LeonzalesArt did some wack shit, but two wrongs don’t make a right.
An account that doesn’t credit the lineart sources they use. Hell, they don’t even give any description as to what’s going on at all. On one such pic, they were asked why the characters were crying, to which he replied, “I don’t know.” Most likely reposts fanart, as a result, considering he’s recolored fanart before, to which as of now has been removed, but it’s been hell trying to get the point across to him according to sources. Since he doesn’t give any information on the image when he posts, it’s hard to tell or believe that he can even draw given that all he does is recolor. If he stuck with screenshots and traced bases, and credited his line art sources, it wouldn’t be a problem. But since he does not, this is an issue.
Yet another facebook roleplay account has been stealing fanart and treating it like their own personal toy. If you find your fanart on facebook, this should help you out
I just had to share this. I love this, okay. I absolutely, without a doubt, fucking ADORE this! It makes me wanna revisit my own animatic. This was made by https://www.deviantart.com/sammytorres go give them a follow!
Another one of those clipart bundle accounts stealing fanart from PNG sites and reselling them for a quick buck.
Artists, beware the cryptobro account Montero175. He labels himself an “Art collector” but he’s going around begging people to turn their art into NFTs for him. That’s not art collecting. That’s a scam.
His replies read like a generated bot. Like, guys, if you wanna support artists by purchasing their art, then buy prints or commissions from them. NFTs among every cryptocurrency phad have been, and always will be scams. It’s not a viable currency, these cryptobros are just pretending to be rich.
Dude’s recoloring fanart and passing it off as theirs, making him look a hypocrite according to his DNI rules list
Recolor culture and edit thief. They seem to think that hiding behind crediting the artist will give them a free pass to steal.
