He fucked around and found out, now he’s crying about it.
Like, there’s no issue with making fanart of someone else’s fan characters, but boundaries need to be respected at the end of the day.
I make fanfic and fanart of someone else’s OCs, but at the end of the day, that OC belongs to someone else and what they say goes.
It’s called being respectful.
This one acted like an absolute dillhole not only to me, but had a scummy prideful attitude about a popular fan character to the point that they believed they should own or adopt the fan character because how very dare the creator not do anything with it. This person wrote an entire fanfic where they magic’d away Leah’s disability when TC already had an idea for the character. Even if TC no longer works on this because of this exact behavior and treatment, that doesn’t mean their characters no longer belong to them.
The takeaway here is, be respectful to content creators, don’t be dicks.
(I would also like to note that this asshole had the lord’s prayer in his About Me, something about christians and their entitlement to things that don’t belong to them goes hand in hand even in fandom spaces)
Just more desperation. Like seriously. These people will boldly proclaim that I have no life, while going on to waste ungodly hours putting together these Google docs as “Proofs of evilness,” like it’s one of those pooh’s adventures posters with like 1k+ clipart images.
“But she’s a bully! WEH!” Says the person putting together their call out journal and weaponizing their following, which, by the way, is against the site’s etiquette and TOS.
Y'all say I’m a loser when that’s just some serious projection issues going on there.
Willing to bet this is a carry over from Vix’s weaponizing their following because I called them out on their bullying.
The quote retweeter missed the point where OP was talking about someone else’s ART. As in art fixing. Their outburst makes them sound like they’re okay with people fixing other people’s art without consent.
Fixing art is still art theft with extra steps. They’re taking people’s art and editing it to their preferences then throwing it back at them with an insult.
It’s one thing to edit screenshots. Screenshots are fair use and public domain. Go for it, have a blast. They can be a nice stress reliever. But fixing someone else’s hard work without their consent is still art theft. And telling them something like “Fixed your shit” makes you the asshole.
Remember, just because they put it out there doesn’t mean it’s fair use or public domain. If you want to use something from a content creator, ask them if it’s okay. You’ll never know until you try.
16-year-old kids seem to really think this. I’m sorry but the world doesn’t work like this.
This kind of mindset also gives me the giggles. Because everything we consume grows old in their story arc some way or other.
First time having to file a counter DMCA. FOR A JOURNAL. But I guess the staff don’t want us to warn our community about art thieves off their site, now. I am reminded of the time Brian wrongfully banned me from TLKFAA for having voiced my opinion on another site.
Update: I did some further look into it, and judging by the small screenshot I was able to see in my inbox, it wasn’t about the whiney recolor baby. But a blogger whiney recolor baby.
That doesn’t look like freehanded referencing to me. Maybe the cub in the middle of the cub pile is more referenced than the others. But Sereea completely took what I said out of context. I had meant that it looked like a base someone else made off of Nala concept art. And Sereea is a baser by trade. And yet the simplest, please credit base, sent them into tantrum mode.
Even if it’s a traced base, it’s fandom curtesy to credit the bases you used.
@malkabts ever hear of the story about the boy who cried wolf?
I’ve seen people like you try the same stunt you pull for quick and easy validation so many times in this toxic waste dump of a fandom that I’ve been desensitized by it.
Time stamps exist to deter shit smears like you. I linked directly to the originals with the original time stamps and yet you’re still gloating and boasting about how it’s your work just because you found it on The Googles and right clicked it to save it and put your bad text edit over the originals or cropped out signatures. That proves enough about your moral. That you’re a low level leech trying to suck the creativity out of those you steal from.
Their devart bio on the AnimalRo account says it all. Drawing quickly. Translated: Point-click and originul the art donut steel.
How does one get their skill magically back when they spent years tormenting content creators by recoloring their works and then claiming it’s for visual aid for her stories when asked to credit the original artists?
Bitch, like, do you really expect the victim to do anything about it?
Yep. they’ve denied pedophile reportings from being second party these days.
