Bases. Bases everywhere! 

People just love to trace Kati-kopa’s art. Panel twelve is traced from Kati-Kopa’s ongoing, and cute series called Hidden Stories. 

Shenzi fanatic tries too hard to copy a series someone else is doing with bases. This is suppose to be based on the Dark Princesses series. But I don’t see it. 

This is what passes as an original comic these days among fans. 

Traced off of a well known TLK fan artist. A style is like a fingerprint, each one is different but unique only to you. By tracing your art, these people aren’t learning a damn thing. 

The more I see rules on traced bases the more I facepalm. If it’s original line art from your mind that you drew, then I don’t see a problem with putting “Don’t claim that it’s your own” in the rule listing but for traced bases you’re doing the same damn thing!

Recolored Simba character with blue mane. The least they could do is edit adult Simba’s nose to that of an outlander. Lazy base coloring is lazy. 

It’s now a base!
