Thanks to a new friend I am pointed to a tumblr blog that doesn't credit fan artists and link back to them for more traffic. Even worse, they'll often times crop out signatures. »

Some little kid on tumblr went to the trouble of cropping out the signatures from Oribi and proclaimed it was “concept art”. I don’t remember seeing concept art that looks like this. That, my dear friends, is what we call bullshit.

I thought I recognized that as a copy.

So many people cry “I’m not copying” when caught in the act of art theft this had to be posted.

Find someone has used your artwork on fanpop without your consent? Stolen a character perhaps? Or is just being a crass, fascist asshole? The easiest way to report someone on fanpop is to go to the contact us page and select “report user or link”.

Even after they complied and removed the image, they’re calling the age old defense line “I’m not copying!” and challenged me to prove they’re not copying. So many people don’t know the exact definition of “copying” ¬_¬

^^Every time I run into baserfags that shout “CREDIT ME!” on bases they traced from sources they shouldn’t, I think back to those birds.

Having played Tokyo Jungle for the past few weeks, I can honestly compare Fan Artists and Tracers/recolorists/common redraw art theft copies to that moment when you’re playing as a carnivore(the art thieves) and the herbivores(the fan artists) scatter when they see you coming.
