Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom

>Gets caught tracing fan art (again for the upteenth time)

>Tries to prove they’re original with a process trace

>“I only traced the base!!!!!"

Yet another goon that thinks fan art is a free base just because it’s on the internet

Please note that this is not a tutorial on how to draw. This is someone trying to prove that they didn’t trace when they actually did. They even lied to me that they stopped tracing and "Learned their lesson” yet they continue to trace to this day.

While looking for the source of a stolen recolored image I stumbled upon this massive art theft forum. JFC it’s an infestation.

We’ve got a red alert people. This person is taking gift art and artwork of other people’s characters from Albinoraven666fanart to Kourukon and adopting them out to other roleplayers. This infestation needs to be squashed. If you can report this, help out!

Pretty damn sure that this is fan art that belongs to animatedjen and I see no notation or credit given to the original artist. Course this person steals gift art, commissions, and art work from someone else and edits them in a very childish manner for a blog so I’m actually not surprised that this person wouldn’t even bother crediting the source or artist in their desktop screenshot upload.

That bloodlust demon lion character is 2edgy4me.

Let’s get one thing perfectly clear. Artwork is not your base. If it’s on the internet, you have to ASK for permission to use it. It’s not something we traced. We worked hard to get here where we are today with out skill. You have no right taking our property and defacing it claiming it is a free to use base.

Alternative title: How to copy someone else’s artwork

One does not simply tell me to ignore art theft. If I recognize something and it’s fishy. I will raise my voice.

The simba was done by Padamelon-savvy. This person that copied this is dead set on the ideal that if it’s on the internet, it’s fair game when that’s not the case.

Look at all that stolen fan art for this drawing app. If you can’t get Google to remove the apps that have stolen your artwork, you can raise hell with the developers personally. I’ve noted that they have their eMails attached for contact purposes.
