The MyLionKing forum is chock full of art thieves using art for their avatars and signature banners like this.
Of course they shout “Credit to the artists!” as they use it anyways. That’s like walking into a grocery store and shouting “Money to the cashier!” as you walk off with milk and not paying for it. This was another case of an uneducated child not knowing what Google really is and mistaking it for a free resource fairy.
So i was browsing on ebay and i stumbled across this.
I am not sure who did that kion image but to me it looks clearly stolen but the rest is official lion king images from Disney . as i said i am not sure who did that kion image but i have some feeling a i have seen it around on DA before.

I lost it when they tried defending their lousy editing theft by claiming 50 shades of gray wasn’t stolen. Fun fact: 50 shades of gray actually is stolen fanfiction. It was a Twilight Business S&M fetish AU.
There’s not many art/character theft accounts on Twitter as I expected. As stated, I’m fairly positive that an official Disney account on Twitter would use their own clip art produced by their in house artists, not steal someone’s fan art. Unless their in house artists did it and passed it off for them to use such is case of the purse fiasco.
