Another moron trying to defend stealing. This time from @xxtc-96xx

OBVIOUS ACT OF VANDALISM DETECTED.
I’m not sure who is the original artist, though.
HOLY SHIT. Terrible recolor job right there. And they had the nerve to watermark it too!
If anyone knows, please help out!

This picture who belongs to Lady/M!ss Lauboz on TLKFAA has been stolen by some mermaid-obsessed deviant on DeviantHELL (Yes, from now on, this is how I will call Deviant’‘ART’’).
I contacted the original artist, but I’m not sure they’re active. So yeah.
I was about seconds away from faving it, but then I noticed this person has a Mertail fetish. That’s all they post in their gallery.
deviantHELL is apt. deviantHELL it is!
Anyone recognize this pic? It’s def fan art. But it’s so on-model it’s hard to decipher who’s it is.

A recolor. I know who the original artist is, but I don’t quite remember their them and couldn’t find them.
Looks made from a familiar recolor baby. I’m not sure either. If anyone else knows, please tell us!
Original description: “My first ever pic on here will be the beautiful Uru, mother of mufasa. As you can tell this will be a place for lion king drawings. Have an amazing summer guys!”
According to this person, the first step to start drawing fanart is to trace over someone else’s fanart. How helpful!
HURF!
While tracing is good to use to learn to draw, one shouldn’t trace and claim other’s art for fast eFame. They take on the artist’s own unique voice as well as mistakes and can’t learn from that. If you want to trace, use official content then use what you learned to find your own style.
Original description: “So Deviantart apparently did this “Deviantart Originals” thing as their April Fools prank and looking through this, it’s very obvious that this is a straight up joke that’s trying to poke fun at YouTube Red or the film studios that Netflix and Amazon have created. However, this did catch my eye. A bunch of Jasiri clones in something called “Les Adoptables”. Obviously a play on “Les Miserables”. Hmmm… don’t exactly know how this would work if it was actually real, but, OK.“
And then, there was a link to a sort of DeviantART challenge. No credit to our dear Kitchiki.
@kitchikishangout another art theft case.
