This is a sixteen year old (16!) lion king fanart piece of mine. Now it got ripped off for some adoptable instagram account. I’m totally bamboozled and mildly amused.
It looks like it’s removed. But they also have someone else’s fanart on their shitacular account as well

Low and behold, they’re a brony. So of fucking course they’d think they can get away with this.
It seems to be a growing trend on Instagram for children to treat fan art like their own personal coloring pages and call it ‘editing.’ And a LOT of these characters are ugly McEdge mother fuckers.

(the weirdest one I’ve seen on that list of uggos, what the hell is up with them eyes?)
When you see thieves so damn stupid they keep the watermark on. Another one that needs to be reported, because lets face it idiots like this get away with murder if they could.
More likely shoplifting than murder. But yeah Instagram is full of idiots that do this.
This is a huge warning about the user hcwlings on Instagram. They have the mindset that if they ‘edit’ the art enough, he can own it legally. Which in reality is bullshit because he’s just redrawing other people’s fan art without permission or credit for their uggo characters. I would advise against contacting this instagramer because there are high chances they will just block you considering his mindset.
If you see anyone’s art you recognize, please get into contact with the original artist and note them about this.

Original description: “i love them I will draw them more in the next time”
“Draw” them more? In the next time? Yeah, more like trace them more in the next time.
This is a perfect example of how not to use tracing. HAH! Also, one is named Koda. Why do I get the feeling that’s the dark brown one with the teal eyes? And why do I get the feeling it’s gonna be a knock-off of TC’s Koda?
It never ceases to amuse me that people will blindly praise someone else’s art theft and that the thief will blindly give their thanks for the comment. The only hard work they did was erase FrolJoker’s watermark signature and add a black filter.
