This coming from the same person who CONSTANTLY reposts a particular image from Sasamaru-lion on her many alt accounts that she rendered and staking claim that “I did it myselfs!”
This editor decided to take the coward’s way out and deactivated after the artist, myself and another tried to explain to them as politely as possible why their behavior was uncalled for.
They’re basically shouting “CREDITS TO THE ARTIST!!!!” with this excuse while hiding comments that otherwise summoned the artist vis a vis mention or told them why they were in the wrong.
Signature editing, btw, is just repost culture in disguise. Sure, some signature makers are respectful. But many do not respect an artist’s wishes or rules on their art and still use it anyways thinking it’s on the Googles, there for it must be fair use. I’ve seen countless signature edits on Google while looking for references that used fanart from artists I know first hand don’t want their works used in anyway shape or form. And yet they pass the art around like trading cards.

The newest case of an inhouse artist stealing fanart and slapping it on merchandise. The last time this happened, an inhouse artist targeted a Cinderella image. These bags are found on the Disney shop for well over 200+ bones! JFC!
I want to support new artists and give them the benefit of the doubt. But this one has far too many clashing styles to comfortably accept that they referenced from photos and TLK. The one in the back with the purple eyes screams Tesung9. Malaika4 is also copied in the one to the far left with the turned head. But the others need to be found. The one in the back far right I know I’ve seen that style before. But I don’t follow them so I’m unfamiliar. If anyone recognizes the styles, please help out!
