I think that one of the most unsettling thing about takura's journals is that she writes as if she is talking to someone, talking to self or as if someone actually cared (truthfully) about her. The writing feels... Weird... She says "I like apples. Kinda lame of me uh guys? lol". So much "oh yeah/hey guys/yeah right" and such. She writes and comments on her own statements.

Well, from my understanding Kumori's fursona is close to 20 years old so, i mean that means that she was one of the first to choose her color scheme so you cant really blame her. Shes a good friend of mine and I remember running around Furcadia in the early 2000's with her and Kumori's design. So Takura really cant say that its original from that standpoint. either.

@Takura: For someone who's trying to break away from the TLK fandom you sure do seem to care a lot about what the TLK fandom thinks about you. Mark of a successful artist: someone who knows what their audience wants, but doesn't let their audiences' opinion completely dictate how they feel about their own art/what they do w/ their art. An artist has to be able to take constructive criticism, and to be able to ignore negative criticism that is unfounded. (But in your case, it seems founded.) pt1

@Takura Pt2: Also, Rhoadie fetishizes incest; incest with Rhoadie, the character, which directly represents her as a person. She has personally asked other artists to portray her TLKsona as a cub, effectively /a child/, enjoying sex with a character that is her half brother; and as a teen, enjoying sexual relations with a character identified as the father. Tak tried to argue back the rhoadie complaints with "funny how tlk fans complain about incest when nala and simba are cousins" one, cousins getting married ain't illegal in most places (and everyone's bloodline cross at some point), two, incest is just the tip of the iceberg. There is also rape and pedophilia (which are even worse) and three, yeah cousins... But not father/literal child. If we scratch incest, she still befriended a pedophile/rape apologist. Period.

It was mandatory for royals to keep the bloodline pure in the old days too so cousins were often betrothed to each other. We see it in the Roman empire and the Egyptian empire. I believe there was one instance where a roman king who married his mother once he assumed the throne??? I believe it was a power struggle move, not to produce heirs.
