Also, crossover is a thing. It's very ok but the problem starts when people start to yell their character could be canon and are simba's waifu and scar was jealous of their relationship and vitani is their bastard child even though they have radioactive colors. Nobody is saying for them to not put neon characters beside simba, just to recognize it doesn't naturally fit there. Also, most people who do that are tracers/basers, that's the root of all the "hate".

Crossovers are a fun thing and can work if done right. And I’m not sure if it’s a crossover if they try to ship their neon OCs to Simba or Nala. I find those ridiculous and try to ship my OCs to other OCs (Mine or friends) when I write things like this.

Whats the difference between "frankentracing" and referencing? Because as far as I'm aware, you cant copyright a pose and it looks like all you're doing is getting huffy at someone using someone else's art as a base. At least their going out of their way to draw their own details?? If we all got mad at someone copying a pose, we would have copyrighted the Mona Lisa and Madonna getting her dress blown up a long time ago. Yet here we are still referencing them in other works of art.

Frankentracing is when you take an existing image and trace elements of it then take another existing image and trace that to make a new image. SilverBreeze on animationsource is a good example of what frankentracing looks like, but she also draws her original fan art as well.
We trace to learn. But we shouldn’t trace to pass it off as our original the content donut steel.

Why do people seem to hate characters that are unnatural? Be it colors, horns, wings whatever. I mean it's not your character as long as someone didn't steal or trace someone else's art to make their character what's the huge issue? Don't like don't look, some people like neon characters that's their thing, i just don't understand all the hatred.

It’s only if they interact with canon characters that people hate them. Otherwise if they’re suppose to be for something else on their own entirely then hey that’s perfectly okay. Because sometimes bright and colorful characters are cool to have around. They can be a breath of fresh air to have fun with and experiment on.
Can we agree that Wimbi can't keep her nose out of anything? I was reading the comments in Nullers journal, and she's practically begging to see the collab that was deleted. Wimbi tends to be the person who sticks her nose in other people's business and then gets ticked off when told to stay out of it.

She is like "they were not my friend then" but SHE was their friend? Rhoadie disposed their friend to side with trump. They are afraid for their own well being, is trump really worth a friend? Nobody has to respect a opinion that is harmful to them. If someone is gay and their friend says they will go to hell for that, they have to respect it? No. Same here. Trump is a threat for a lot of people. It's not just "hamburgers are better than hotdogs" kind of thing.

The way I see it, if I have friends who support trump. I let them as long as they don’t try to drag me up that mole hill. As I’ve stated before I don’t want none of that hogwash he’s trying to sell. I disliked him from the first time I saw him way back while he was still just a reality show host. The man is dangerously unstable and I don’t trust him trying to “negotiate” peace between troubled countries. Especially when he can’t stay off Twitter for twenty four hours. Every time the man gets upset at the tiniest tangent, he blasts shit on twitter about it.
If people lose friends left and right because their friends can’t see eye to eye about Trump, that’s their friends choice and they should respect it. Not instigate a pixel drama over it.

Not sure what you refer. As I don’t see it. dA staff are useless when it comes to reporting porn anyway. I’m p sure the vaginal spreading Twilight Sparkle is STILL up and all attempts to report it have been locked. Even though vaginal spreading is against the rules.
