Certain Japanese names could fit TLK OCs as well. There's so many names to choose from. And of course like many Japanese words, they all have a different meaning based on what kanji you use or reference from. For example, Akinari could easily fit a male lion OC or even a female oc.

I’m not really part of the TLK fandom anymore (well, was I ever?), but I did write my fair share of fanfiction, and I personally think that Persian and/or Arabic names fit the universe quite well, too c: (might be me thinking that Persian names are gorgeous but hey … :D)

On the topic of non-Swahili names, I think Hellenistic or Roman Empire names wouldn't be too out of place for TLK OC's. Especially, considering that those empires overlapped with ancient ranges of lions. I can easily see Ptolemy or a Nero.

I used to work with people who were special needs, and a huge problem nowadays are because of people who are going "I'm autistic/depressed/anything the tumblrites claim they have "I can do what i want" not a lot of them, but some of them then think "Well if thats the case then its the same for me to I dont have to listen." because a few of autistic people see things in mostly black and white. Like I said its not a huge problem but it does create them :/

what do you think of the character designs in TLG? i for one love them, and i'm not just talking about zuri and tiifu's markings. i mean how kiburi has those spots on his chin, or one of reirei's older pups having spots on his eyebrows, or even just the zebra sibs in "the golden zebra" having an over-/underbite!

I def love the other pridelander’s and outlander’s designs and especially the lizards. That little gecko that wanted to be a crocodile was SO CUTE!

So to lighten the mood I wanted to leave a fan-theory I've come up with that might make more sense than Kopa being born before Kiara. What if he's born after Kara and Kion? I havent thought it all through but maybe Kiara and Kovu decide to leave and make their own pride because not all the outlanders and pridelanders get along and it was more like two smaller prides in the same grounds anyway. Kion stays but is leader of the guard, and has no desire to lead. So Simba and Nala make Kopa.
