Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom
So, is there an alternative ability to Kion's roar? Since it's magicness is so unappealing to fans?

I don’t think there is. Ferocity is his shtick. And the roar gives him that shtick. But if you want my opinion, I’d say he’s got some intelligence on him. He’s able to solve problems in tight situations if that’s anything to behold.

If I can just get this off my chest I think it's really ridiculous how Cynder did a status post about how she "can't be original because someone else did it first" but she steals characters that someone owns. What the heck

She must have deleted it or it got pushed down because I ain’t seeing it.

I think the MLP fans for Kion have forgotten the roar issue because of the series is to end after season 9 and those spoilers being leaked. Maybe more of the other fans will overlook the roar when their other fandoms blow up like that.

I seem to recall that bronies had their jimmies rustled over TLG because ER NER CUTEE MERK RIP ERFF

It was our turn with that Grubber furry that looked almost exactly like Bunga.

Also, some of my friend circle are saying that was a hoax. That they tried google reverse searching those leaks and it didn’t come up any results.

I personally always saw Mufasa's spirit as more of a paranormal happening rather than magic. As a ghostly apparition manifesting itself as clouds, and Rafiki as a medium who can talk to the departed. Guess it all depends on what angle you look at it from.

That’s an interesting view of it.

Yeah, there's tons of theories that can work- I like that about TLK. A lot of stuff is vague so people can run in different directions with it, instead of making the same decisions over and over. It's a good fandom in that sense, there's tons of creativity

I personally like hearing different theories c:

I thought the transition scenes had to do with how Scar never took care of the Pridelands (overhunting and driving off prey, upsetting the 'natural balance') while Simba most likely avoided that, maybe even moving his pride to the jungle to let the land recover for a while. Possibly exasperated by the weather since droughts can just happen

that’s what I also think. But I’ve heard that theory and it kinda works?

I thought the Rafiki knowing Simba was alive was because he smelled the leaves (and his pause was because he was trying to remember what it was). And as a kid I took Rafiki's 'wow what a freak storm' a bit too seriously I guess, I always accepted that Simba just saw what he wanted to or whatever. And it doesn't really explain why Mufasa's spirit never seemed to appear to those suffering at Pride Rock, so it just made more sense to me that way. Either way it just depends on the person really

To be fair the “remember scene” could also be interpreted as being in Simba’s head. The movie doesn’t really make clear whether it actually happened. As for Rafiki: well he’s Rafiki, he already is a very mysterious character. I myself don’t have problem with the roar, but I see where the complaints come from

Okay I can kinda see that.

I see Rafiki being able to talk to Mufasa in TLK II as being magical.

Some people consider the transition from a lush pridelands to a desolate wasteland and reverse as magical. Mufasa being the winds would have kept rains from coming in the pridelands as a “curse” on Scar for what he’d done. I can kinda see that myself.

I disagree honestly, I never really saw magic in the originals and I prefer something closer to realism rather than unexplained magic. But neither way is wrong, it's all creativity and art, and I like to see both depicted by artists

So Mufasa becoming the spirit of wind, Mufasa being able to talk some sense into his son into going back, and let’s not forget Mufasa talking to Rafiki(which is a direct link to TLG mind you in Return of Scar that was explained) that wasn’t magic?

As long as we can agree to disagree to enjoying it for what it is, I think we can get along.

"Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has em." Omg I need to use that one the next time I'm in an argument haha

Unfortunately it won’t win every argument.

Oh please, you've acted salty yourself, blog owner. Kind of hypocritical to call others salty when you've acted just as "omg people are attacking me" Also, way to turn the word salty into a buzzword. Can't you come up with something other than "Salty" or is your vocabulary list really that small?

I’m not the one who turned salty into a buzzword. That happened elsewhere.

Would you prefer I call you butthurt? That’s a favorite of mine. A classic. Or how about SJW? Would you prefer I use that since you’re behaving like one? Or maybe white knight is more akin to your style of internet policing.

Either way, people like you need to calm the fuck down. If you want to do some good, go volunteer at a soup kitchen or do community service instead of sitting on your ass being a keyboard warrior trying to earn brownie points by making me look like the bad guy.

You’re the one coming here throwing a huge fantrum over someone’s opinion and attacking everyone because how dare we not like something. HOW DARE INDEED!
