Granted Kasiri and Fulion (Or Kuli as I call them) shippers aren’t as horrid as say Tiizu shippers, but still. Unless we see some actual crushing going on (like with Bunga over Dhahabu) I won’t ship it.
Maybe Rani was that rumored love interest of Kion people were talking about on Youtube.

That Logan Paul thing is fucked up but for a not so bright but bright note. dA search did a good job for me when I was looking for human models for my gift art that is overdue to some friends. Middle of the search for some male models sitting up right, I get an adorable Leopard sitting up like a good boy. <3 It's not much but felt like that should be a positive note for my post for this blog this year.

Yeah, mocking the dead is not cool at all. I think what more people are upset about, is that YouTube had no intentions of deleting the video, but they flag other videos for not being "family friendly"...I honestly hope YouTube crashes and burns after this. Their staff is out of control and we need a better site lol. I thought DA staff was bad, at least they aren't like YouTube staff. They censore anyone they don't agree with but poster boys can film dead bodies and act like a fool

Youtube is a subsidiary of Google. So of course its system of flagging and copyright filing is absolute shit.
I know this has nothing to do with lion king, but what are your thoughts on the Logan Paul incident? He was in japan and went to suicide forest, found a body, and decided to film it and mocked it. I'm glad we don't have anyone like THAT in the fandom. Sure there aren't so nice people, but at least they don't mock suicide victims as far as I know and make money while doing so. The way he acted in Japan was also problematic

I had something similar once. Only it wasn’t character or art theft geared. I had a dream that they name dropped Kopa in the Lion Guard and I groaned so loud in my sleep that I woke myself up.
Usually 90's kids (pfff... yeah, more like late 90's, early 2000's) have nostalgia boner on old show and shit on new ones. But for some reason I have a case of not really enjoying old cartoons and prefer new ones... The only old one I can tolerate is Samurai Jack. As for the other cartoons, they feel too outdated for my taste. I suppose I have the "reverse nostalgia boner" or something? Looking forward to the future and not past?

I’m a 90s kid so I totally understand where you’re going. I grew up watching the old Chipmunks cartoon and honestly I think we can all agree the new fox remake is absolute shit. Personally I’ve been enjoying the new Ducktales reboot having grown up watching the old one. And there are some shows from the 90s and 80s I’d like to see go through reboot successfully and not wind up looking like amateur hour Rainbow Bright which sucked shit through a straw, and had an entire floor of professional animators laughing at.
Ok now I'm really interested in who the potential character theft person is?

Thanks for the input. I think that's how I'll approach this then, is explain to them firm and gentle why that's not OK to do to someone elses character and suggest ways they can come up with their own design. I don't expect them to blow up about this but you never know. I'm a little surprised that this is what they think is OK since they also follow Rho pretty closely as well and I would assume they would know about her Cynder drama. Although I shouldn't be surprised by poor behavior these days
