I think everyone is jumping the gun a bit too quickly in a lot of these situations tbh. "Callout Culture" is incredibly toxic, especially in this fandom these days. Sometimes a coincidence is a coincidence, and they happen. I just think there are better ways for people to conduct themselves on both sides. Sure its wrong to confront someone without all the facts, especially in the open, but it's also wrong for people to behave like rabid dogs and send death threats. Hopefully this can resolved.

Well, I'm glad you were able to figure out what the point of this kid's gibberish is, because I sure as hell can't. My gods, I'm not perfect and I know not everyone speaks English but I'm sure punctuation is a thing in most languages. Their train of thought has just derailed into a fiery heap. Not sure what anything in their last two shit fits had to do with tracing from and apparently impersonating(?) an artist. But I guess that's art thief mentality, spew random nonsense and see what sticks.

AnonymousYou can’t copyright certain poses(Like sitting or mid-stride which is common in TLK OC pics unless they have directly traced over the original). However, if a pose is recognizable such as Dukacia’s sleeping Vitani pose or her other vitani pic which gets traced and copied a lot, shit ain’t right.
In order for Rhoadie to get in a legal copyright, the issue lies in the material. A fancharacter can be copyrighted, I grew up watching SONIC FAN CHARACTERS copyrighted and CHRIS CHAN himself even has a 150$ copyright over SONICHU and e can all see how well him taking people to court has gone for him, he actually can't do shit. Rhoadie's past incarnations are easy for a lawyer to see as a Scar with Socks and that would mean she'd likely only have copyright over RECENT Rhoadie which Yatana isn't.
AnonymousMakes sense actually (My inbox has been flooded with similar asks and I’m only answering one, sorry guys). I keep going back to Sushi Dogs being trademarked/copyrighted because they were original enough to be granted it. I did some research on copyrighting my own creation I call Cryptic(A young adult novel I’m writing that involves fighting cryptids and a teen magical girl). But you wind up paying through the nose for your own creations, and they have to be original, not based on something someone else has created. Granted I think some minor inspirations can be overlooked.
(same anon about copyright) To clarify she can 100% call out someone for stealing her Rhoadie lions designs but she cant sit there trying to sue people for it because no lawyers would be dumb enough to take up a case over a fan character because they'd have to get Disney involved and.... Yeah.
