I don't believe the parents' story, to be honest. It changed about five or six times. First they were drinking, then they weren't drinking, then the kid was 10 feet out in the water, then the kid was 1 foot out. And the father supposedly wrestled the gator who had his kid, but then they found the kid's body intact AND the dad didn't have any cuts on his skin? Gator skin is rough - and if it's thrashing, it's gonna cause some issues. Dude would have more than a few scrapes.
Makes me wonder if the boy had any teeth marks on him now and whether or not those teeth marks were post mortem.
Also - now there are supposedly two gators that came up and attacked the kid.

The only time you get two gators anywhere is if there’s a feeding frenzy. As you’ve said Gators aren’t pack hunters. They’re ambush predators. They work better alone. Something smells rotten in Denmark.
