Fuck yea terrible Lion King fandom

My dudes, when making a YCH, don’t steal from other artists. This includes big companies. You will find yourself in a legal situation if you steal from other artists and make a profit off their work. Just don’t ever do this.

It’s totally not TC’s cub! Look, different pelts! Just the names were borrowed!

If I had a quarter for every time someone did this, I’d be moderately wealthy by now.

Meanwhile: On the same deviation

They’re p much admitting to ripping off TC’s fanfiction and her fan cubs.

I don’t allow editing of all kinds done to my work. And while I will allow the reposting of my art (provided it’s the watermarked version) to client’s accounts, that doesn’t give the go ahead to edit the art.

When you buy commissions from artists, listen and pay attention to any rules they may have regarding the artwork you purchased. You may have bought yourself some art, but artists still retain the rights to say how their art should be represented by their clientele. If an artist says you cannot use their art for commercial business, don’t use their art. If an artist says you can’t edit their work, don’t edit their work.

But Madarao here had the balls to edit out my art from his deviation and go “What art?” before quickly editing his comment as well. This is toxic asshole treatment to artists. Be alert when he comes to you looking for a commission.

Been going through this person’s comment history. My brain’s really itching to set this particular person straight, even though it probably won’t do much.

“’Fan art’ could mean ‘fake’ or ‘not real’ but I don’t care!”

That line right there tells you they’re a dellusional twat.

But fan art is legit realz0rs to him! What an absolute DUMBASS

Ain’t nobody gonna take him seriously if he thinks fan art is canon. It’s called FAN art. Not CANNON art. Goddamn, son of sam!

Okay, but he clearly traced either by taping a piece of paper up to his monitor, or printing out the screenshot and then tracing it up against a window. There are no eraser marks or construction lines seen. It’s… too neatly drawn. And the rest of his gallery is also traced and being passed off as originul the fanart donut steel.

Again, this bullshit trend needs to stop.

IT TOOK HIM 3 HOURS TO TRACE YOU GAIZ!

This bullshit needs to be shut down. It’s becoming an uncomfortable trend in the fandom. I pin the blame squarely on bases.

Throw back to the original hit song that predates Disney’s kitschy Hakuna Matata song in light of the release of Raya and the Last Dragon trailer.

I wonder what legality issues Didney is going to deal with this time.

Originally I was going to point out their hypocrisy in their instagram profile but then got carried away and corrected it.

This account had the nerve to bawwlock me and delete my comment requesting they delete my work from their account.

They have hundreds of other reposted fanarts on there as well.

I wouldn’t bother, normally. But it seems Instagram kids would rather throw a tantrum and bawwlock you to keep the attention all to themselves than comply to a simple request.
