So, I told the person who did the Azola "fanart" that she/he should consider using bases instead recoloring other peoples art. At first I got a: "Dude thats my art.." Than a: "wait that isn't a screenshot?!" Than all comments were deleted..I dont know why I've even tried x,D

If the dude wanted attention, he should seek a therapist.
“Fanart” for DJ88…honestly, if you like an artist and want to make her/him a gift in form of fanart, DRAW it..no matter how skilled you are, I’m pretty sure everyone is happy to get a self-made little gift.

When I get asked if I accept fan art/gift art, my only request is to draw it. It could be a stick lion and I’d absolutely love you for it. If only this fandom was more actively supportive of lower skilled artists they’d feel the courage and motivation to draw more instead of using bases or recoloring.
At this point I think it’s time to start ignoring him and reporting for block evasion. If he starts commenting, report as spam. It works faster.
That doesn’t look like freehanded referencing to me. Maybe the cub in the middle of the cub pile is more referenced than the others. But Sereea completely took what I said out of context. I had meant that it looked like a base someone else made off of Nala concept art. And Sereea is a baser by trade. And yet the simplest, please credit base, sent them into tantrum mode.
Even if it’s a traced base, it’s fandom curtesy to credit the bases you used.

Off topic, but I feel like it should be mentioned. Especially since a majority of us grew up on Fairly Odd Parents. But Butch Hartman is now an art thief. Having traced off a Japanese fan artist for 200$.
Willing to start a betting pool he’s gonna be as toxic as Aaron Carter was when confronted about the theft.
