IDK if this is allowed but my cat has gotten really sick and my partner and I are out of a job so I was wondering if I can share my commissions here. They're really cheap and I just need some help. rosetea-witch/journal/Vet-Bills-and-Groceries-857505743
You’re perfeclty allowed, dear.
glamoroussky asked:
If your talking about the homophobic VA claim, the doc I already link submitted goes into that with proof at the end and how it was Tribble lying and slandering the actor using that as a cover. Only for her to tenn edit the post and back out since the VA is Pansexual and was uncomfortable with the homophoia in the story recordings.
Oooh. Okay now that is a bad situation.
scribble-hunter asked:
The not paying thing can be found in a document I will have to find a way to link. One of the original voice actors was scolded and berated, then told their hard work would not be used over a rapey line they were uncomfortable saying. Tribble then talks shit and basically says she doesn't want to pay for someone who won't commit. The rapey line was removed, and many things were tweaked, Hover was a sex assault victim who goes lesbian but many OG VAs say Nothing was never gay. 1/2
Nothing was supposed to be straight and Hover I guess the token lesbian, but something changed. There’s this sudden two lesbian lions that was pushed forward and seemed like a bait. Then Tribble tweeted all the BLM tweets with links to My Pride and people said what do lions have to do with a hate crime and went off at her. So it sounds like Tribble is burning people while also throwing in gay couple to get the starving people drawn in. Gotta get those views. 2/2

Oh hey, look! Asks are back where they’re supposed to be!
Meanwhile, to answering this one. I’ve heard that one VA was removed because they were homophobic? This is new stuff coming at me. Yeah, I’d like to see the proof documented. Because without context and sourcing it just looks like lies being spread. No offense.
Honestly, I approve of the change. Having watched the first seven episodes. The “Rape turned me gay!” trope is toxic and over used for LGBT characters. So seeing that changed makes me glad it was.
The way I see it, if she feels any remorse for pushing her furry series in a civil unrest movement and is trying to better herself, all the better. There are better ways to advertise the series without clogging up serious matters. But again, if she’s trying to better herself with one step after the other, I see no reason for cancel culture.
But I have noticed a pattern. That TLK and Lions bring out the worst in people. TLK is like, cursed or something. Just about every popular artist has fame complex from it and are absolute shitheads.
Regarding Tribble and My Pride, have you seen this document regarding how she treated voice staff and other workers among the team? Personally this was what made me stop supporting the series. Such manipulative, toxic and childish attitude from someone trying to run a series is unforgivable to me.
I had heard of it through others. I didn’t know a doc existed. I see it doc’s the civil unrest commercilism too.
dream-unity asked:
Tribble does pay people though. She had to, as she had to outline the whole budget of My Pride and where it got allocated. What happened was that because of Corona, they could use a few volunteers, only if people wanted to volunteer and such While that could be skeevy, it wasn't like she wasn't paying the animators she already had, which they themselves said. The BLM thing was definitely bad w/o question, though she has fiercely apologized for that, and has been trying to make up for it.
If she’s taking the next step to better herself and feels remorse for praying on civil unrest. That’s her trying to be a better person. I’m willing to see that as a positive step forward.
Thanks for clarifying.

I don’t know much about the my pride drama, but it’s good to know my gut instinct of “something’s wrong here.” While watching it was in the right lane.
Oof. I know that mood. When Tribble announced the winners of their background character contest, my gut instinct was immediately screaming at me when Kaytoart showed up on the list. Turns out, I was right to be leery. They have a Kovu originul the recolor donut steel OC that was genderbent for the contest and still won. It’s literally just Kovu with a slightly darker tonal change. And yet, I still have suspicions that it won by association with TNP.

scribble-hunter asked:
I mean, to be fair, going off the My Pride drama and how Tribble doesn't pay people, we could say Night Pride and My Pride both have some wool over people's eyes. I'll never get the appeal, but I've followed Tribble for years and they never had all this LGBT in it, even the original script, until they found out they can tweet about it under BLM and LGBT+ tags of serious matters to advertise which is nasty.
Some more controversy I didn’t know about. Not paying your production team is just as bad because they’re not volunteering their free time to make this story come to life. And the whole changing the plot just to make it so they can advertise off the trending issue topics, such as BLM is disgusting and scummy. It’s a gut punch to the BLM movement. People have died to police brutality and this movement wasn’t started just so someone could advertise their furry series.
I pray Tribble doesn’t come off as toxic as JK Rowling did. Because I’ve applauded the script for its foreshadowing and mystery and how it’s spaced.
