So many problems with modern fandom could be summed up with this:

Performative moral outrage

(via primedoverlord)

Recolor culture account. Treats fan art like their own personal coloring page.

As a former humanities student, I feel it is my duty to reblog this one.

A tech bro tried to convince me AI was amazing cause “you could make 30,000 screenplays in minutes” not realising that every single one would be shit, you’d have to sift through everything just to find some good bits, time wasted that could’ve been spent just writing a screenplay.

Technology Brothers know nothing about what goes into creating a work, other than the fact a work has been created to be exploited for cash. They see creativity as an investment opportunity, not a love for humanity.

Matthew Dow Smith: “Just remember: Arts & Humanities are so useless and pointless that Tech Bros were driven to spend billions of dollars to try and get a computer to do something that badly approximates something Arts & Humanities students could do half asleep and wired on coffee the night before the due date.”

My first KYS threat over opinions on AI. No, I will not hide their username, thugs that tell people online this don’t deserve that kind of luxury.

Another empty threat from an internet thug.

I truly have rustled some AI dude bro jimmies this week

Because insulting me while trying to inform me will help keep my attention long enough to get your point across.

They just love using the, “Fan art is art theft!” line to compare for insult because we didn’t get permission from corpos. Last I checked, Corpos love fan art as a form of advertisement and ratings. Many people get jobs in the industry for over the top fan art because of their talent and skill. You don’t see AI dude bros getting jobs in the industry for pressing a button.

To repeat, AI dude bros are only jealous because we can draw and they can’t, so they get pissy when we call them out on their art theft machine.

Scooped together all the footage from Mufasa: TLK. It is definitely animated differently from the last movie, but I can't tell if it's in a good way until we get more than a few frames pic.twitter.com/ZxVapcuCcw — Stormahee (@Stormahee) April 4, 2024ALT

The more I stare at the first clip, the more it looks like AI the way the shoulder pops out of joint like that. Wouldn’t put it past Disney to abuse AI.

If you live in republican run America, then congrats, you’re suffering by surviving, able-bodied or not.

Some fan comic readers are way too over the top sometimes.. Fucking yikes.

It’s basically the Lion King again, but replace Simba with Mufasa. They say history repeats but this is ridiculous.

Also, what’s up with Mufasa’s limbs in that screenshot? They look like the rig is having weight paint issues on the bones.

I’m just gonna do to this film what I do with the pandering Christmas episode of the Lion Guard, pretend it didn’t happen.
